Here’s the long-awaited Pod of Horror #72.
In this episode we catch up with Ronald Kelly, master of southern-fried horror fiction. BLOOD KIN, the latest deluxe edition of his previously-published novels, is just out from Thunderstorm Books. We’ll talk to Ron about his influences as a horror fan and a storyteller. We’ll also learn a thing or two about his writing plans for the future. He was a great guest and we can’t wait for you to hear it.
The Call of Kalanta is back as well, with a strangely echoing Nanci Kalanta discussing our new website and that amazing logo at the top of this page. At one point in the proceedings her need for an expectorant leads to a possible new name (or three) for the podcast.
Finally, in our Scary Words segment, we review PRISONER 489 by Joe R. Lansdale, THE DUNFIELD TERROR by Willie Meikle and THE NIGHTMARE GIRL by Jonathan Janz.
