Personally I don't see how the president has anything to do with how many jobs are made.
I think this election is a toss up. You know who picks who is going to win and has every election? Halloween costume sales. See whose face sells the most and that person will win.
Although why in the hell anyone would want to dress up as a president is beyond me.

I have the regular kindle and the kindle fire. I just can't get used to reading on my fire. The regular kindle just works better for me.

1) Shelley has demonstrated that sleep is serious bidness.
2) Not only is she rough on her toys, but she is also rough on her leash as well. She broke a retractable leash.

I went to the florist to get flowers for the 9-11 memorial. The woman and man in there made me boo hoo. Turns out the woman had lost someone at the pentagon. We all stood there hugging and crying. They told me thank you and gave me the flowers for free.
I am still weepy.

I wonder who will be the scapegoat who resigns or gets fired from The Today Show for their fiasco this morning. They apparently didn't observe the moment of silence that most others did, instead interviewing the Kardashian mom during that time.

I have started writing stories for my daughter. Every day I put one part of a five part story into her lunch box and she reads it at lunch. She loves Star Wars and the first story is a Star Wars story. She loves it and looks forward to reading the next installment. It feels nice to have a captive audience. Even of just one!

The Almost Jedi - Part One

Jal Juben’s mother held him tightly.
“I’m so scared Mommy,” he said.
“Don’t worry my son. Everything will be alright,” his Mother said but the sweat on her brow and the shaking of her voice betrayed her worry. Jal’s Father, Akebonoss had just sent a message from Corsucant. Order 66 had been invoked and across the universe Jedi were being killed by clone troopers. Rumours said that not even the younglings had been spared.
Today, Jal was to be picked up by famed Jedi Obi Wan Kenobi and transported to Coruscant to begin his Jedi training. Now his Mother worried for his life! She had seen clone troopers outside of town last week. Did they know about Jal? Were they on their way to the house to kill him? Jal’s Father was on his way home but it would take 2 days to reach the planet Tartron.
By then it might be too late!

But I already do that, and they're still there when I turn it back on. I think hunting them down and disposing of them sounds more fun.

So freaking tired. Work is burning me out. On the road last week and today trying to help a customer out of a big jam. Got so much to do and find myself ready to sleep by 8:00.

I did have one bright spot, last night my writers club loved the latest installment on my magnum opus with sterling superlatives from two professors (one of them an english professor who teaches the classics, the other a French professor who has written a bunch of books), it really made me feel good. Only 5,000 words or so more until it is completed and then I get start all over on the last and final part of the trilogy. I'm hoping the book will be finished by Jan. 1st though I haven't the slightest idea where I will send it.

...and I did see a young eagle today perched in a tree. During a break from the trials I was on I went outside and sat on a picnic table, looked up, and there it was. Very cool.

Annoying: Waiting on my G.I. Bill payment. Transferring schools is just the headache I was told it would be. Submitted my transfer paperwork August 1st. Then again August 18. A third time a week later. The school submitted paperwork on the 30th. And it's all still being processed. Thankfully, I was warned and did the smart thing and paid most of this month's rent last month.
