Synthetic marijuana makes you extremely stupid. My "wife" is setting herself up for some really bad all because she's out of that shit. All I'm going to do is point and laugh when the shit hit the fan.

She's spending 1/3 of her paycheck on synthetic marijuana. It comes before her car payment, her bills, and even groceries. She's stolen money from me. I can no longer trust her. She just spent a quarter tank of gas trying to get a "loan" from Western Sky. The minimum amount they lend is $500. They charge a $350 fee. And then there is the 342% interest rate. 12 payments of $150. In all, she'll have to repay them $1800. That's money she doesn't have. She can't afford the $150 payment because her car payment is just $10 more and I've had to help her out with that.

I gave her money for gas and groceries. She filled the car up and promptly wasted a quarter tank trying to get that loan. She spent $10 in faxing fees because they needed additional information. And what did she get us for groceries? A half gallon of milk. That's it.

I know that she won't be able to pay it back. She's gonna lose the car. Then she's gonna lose her job because she doesn't have reliable transportation to get there (it's roughly 25 miles one way). Busses running to her job don't start running until sometime after 5 and she has to be there by 6.

But will she quit smoking that shit? No. Will she listen to any idea that I put out there to save her money (packing her lunch instead of eating out everyday, for one)? No.

Pointing and laughing is all I can do because beating her is completely out of the question. Her dad has asked her to move home so she can start over again. No rent. No utilities. He had some job opportunities lined up for her. He was even going to pay for her to move. The only thing she would have had to do, is get some help for her addiction. She refused.

For some reason, she seems hell bent on seeing both of us go down in flames. I've tried to help her. Her family has offered to help her. My friends have offered to help us. One of my friends even offered to move in and split the rent and utilities, something that what help us out immensely. She has refused. I've been trying to save up and move out, but every time I turn around there's yet another bill I have to pay because she couldn't. I've been praying for a lottery win, but I need to play and I can't do that.

Natural herbs sprayed with synthetic chemicals that are supposed to mimic the effects of "real" marijuana.

It's ninety four degrees in the house. I've been wading laboriously through my editing notes, making the necessary amendments to the .doc manuscript. I'm about half way through and it's driving me nuts.

I want to write new stuff. Not do this. And yet it must be done.

I haven't been reading or writing much. I know I should really be doing the latter, striking while the iron's hot, so to speak, but I only have a brief glimpse of an idea right now. Maybe it's time to just start typing and see where I go with it.
