Today I left the house as usual and the squirrel saw me, ran across the gas station lot toward me, but--damn!--I didn't have any cashews to give him. If ever a squirrel can look pissed off, this was it!

It seems to be prime squirrel mating season in Northern WI. There was quite the orgy yesterday! I wanted to go out there and join in but I didn't have any nuts....

I prefer the name "Squirrel." Today was hilarious. I walked out of the convenience store and the squirrel was WAITING FOR ME just outside the door! I gave him a brazil nut and I swear he looked up at me in gratitude!

KK: I'll try to do another video when I get back to FL. Right now I'm at my mother's house in Maryland where the squirrels have eaten better than a lot of people due to the food my mother fed them. They're fat as hell, too, they've got bellies on them. Anyway, today they're all sitting out there when I got back from the nursing home, and theyre PISSED cos I forgot to throw food out in the morning. The little buggers are thumping their bodies against the glass and glaring at me. I didn't have any peanuts left so I threw out some saltines and I thought they were gonna riot. I swear, one of them gave me the finger. But then I out some Pepperridge Farm cookies, and they piped down. My Florida squirrel is much cool, not rude and greedy and ungrateful like these fat Maryland squirrels!

Ha! That's hilarious! I hope the warring factions of Maryland squirrels don't start some saltine-incited 'heading' of each other....

We used to feed the chipmunks regularly at our house. We'd put a dish of food on the back patio and delight as they came scampering over to stuff their cheek pouches....then they started banging on the patio door when the dish was empty (after about 5 minutes!).....then they started moving into our garage and walls....so we stopped.

I'm gonna be chuckling at Ed Lee being flipped off by a fat squirrel all day
