What are you Listening to?

Speaking of great prog (keith), Been listening to the newest Steven Wilson-Grace for Drowning. I hear inklings of lots of old-time progressives including Gentle Giant, King Crimson and Steve Hackett. Really fine stuff and a double album to boot.

My favorite Crimso albums are their first, "In the Court of the Crimson King", and their seventh, "RED". Court - because no one had ever done that s**t before and it just blew us all away, and RED because it was so clean and jazz-infused and just plain LOUD. I consider "One More Red Nightmare" and "Starless" from RED to be my favorite King Crimson pieces. Plus it was a very pared down group, just Fripp, John Wetton (before all that ASIA nonsense) and Bill Bruford, one of the great rock/jazz percussionists who left YES for Crimso. There is also a certain gentleman named Ian McDonald who plays a great alto sax solo on RED, his first appearance after leaving Crimso during the "In The Wake of Poseidon" sessions.

I also like Starless and Bible Black as well as Lark's Tongue In Aspic. I'd put pictures of them here, but for the life of me I forgot how to cut and paste pictures.

Can someone tell me again how to get a picture over here without going through photo bucket? I know you guys told me years ago but I forgot. This time I have a book that I keep for stuff like this and I will write the directions down. Thanks.

In the iMAC world, with the one-button mouse, you Control-click, select "Copy Image Address", then paste it between the [IMG[ [/IMG[. That should work.

See? I use Photobucket, though.

Craig: When I right click properties does not show up on the list. I am using firefox at work on a windows computer.

I use a Dell POS running XP at work, and IE 5, and there is "Properties" down there at the bottom of the drop-down when I right-click.

The Mac way is easier, though, of course.

I've been listening to a lot of Sam Cooke lately. The hits, mostly. A Change Is Gonna Come, Wonderful World, Twisting the Night Away. Really great stuff. He had a voice totally unlike anything else around.

Just spent the last hour listening to so much unreleased Beatles and Lennon music that I never even knew existed. Started with the song below and made my way around. Some of this stuff almost brought me to tears. And there is so much more to listen to.

Been listening to a bunch of Arch Enemy: Khaos Legions, Wages of Sin, and Root of all Evil. Also just bought the 3rd Ra album Black Sun... its not quite as good as their first but has a few good songs on there.
