Gosh, I don't remember seeing that reply at all. But it was the stadium that I was looking for your impression of. I was wondering if you would think it charming, small, old, or cool. I have not been to one other stadium so I have nothing to compare it to other than the old Fenway Park, which was a worse than a slaughterhouse.

Yeah, sitting behind home plate I felt like I was right next to the Green Monster. I'm sure that's only part because of the distance, though, and also part size of the wall. I like seeing fields with different dimensions like Fenway has. Kauffman is a big, bland semicircle.

With our daughter being gone for the weekend my wife and I decided to go out for dinner.
The food wasn't to bad, not quite as good as the last time we ate there, but everyplace can have an off night.
The waitress we had was young and this was probably her first waitressing job. She came by while we were eating
to see if everything was OK which it was, she then asked if we would like a reheat of our coffee. Our coffee was about half gone so we both said sure, assuming she would just refill our cups. then she asks do you just want me to dump your coffee out and I can get you a new cup. My wife and I just looked at each as if to say what kind of a dumb question is that and told her that wasn't necessary and a reheat was fine. She then took our mugs and left
and returned a few minutes later with our still half full mugs of steaming hot coffee, she apparently reheated them in the microwave.The server, at every restaurant we've ever eaten at, would always ask if you would like your coffee reheated or warmed up would always refill from the pot of coffee she was holding. When she brought our coffee back my wife and I had all we could do to not laugh.

I've seen pictures of tattoos like that before, but it still boggles my mind that you'd want that on your body permanently. (And, yes, I know you can have tattoos removed, but I'm making a point.)
