Have you ever heard a song played so many times that you actually stop being a fann of the group? Every time Hotel California comes on the radio, I can't change the station fast enough.

I CAN'T STAND THAT SONG! I turned the station for as long as I can remember when it came on. Talk about a song being played to death! Thank God I'm not alone on this, I was thinking that maybe there was something wrong with me.

It wouldn't be so bad if they played other Eagles songs, but that one seems to be the only one in rotation. I'm glad we have at least a couple off stations in the city that won't play it.

Anyone concerned about the radiation floating our way?

Like maybe a higher power is trying to tell us we're all assholes for messing with this shit in the first place? Then you see the news, and how do we react? I know! Let's build more! We're not completely doomed yet! Build more of those bastards.

Perhaps the radiation has arrived . . . . I can't help but wonder why a "bag lady" isn't the same as a "bag man".

I have been worried for a long time now. To the point of looking into pills to take should it become needed.

Yesterday was 86 degrees. Today is suppose to be hotter. I might die.

My son was over our house a week ago and asked me if I would build him a book case for his DVD's. He told me had 500 of the darn things.

I worked on it that weekend and yesterday and put the thing together. He wanted it stained dark brown so I went to the hardware store and bought some stain. Reading the can it said to use something called a pre-stain first. I never heard of this but saw a can of it, read the directions briefly and bought it.

I got ready to start staining last night and read the directions on the pre-stain and then I got to the warnings. It said that this material can spontaneously combust and that all rags or brushes must be soaked in water after use in a metal container. Huh? Then I read the can of stain I bought and it said the same thing for the stain! I can't ever remember reading this before and it got me nervous as hell.

I put the pre-stain on this morning and then put the brushes outside in a big pail of water. It's 45 degrees outside and I got the slider in the basement wide open hoping the fumes rush out.

And now I'm waiting for the bookcase to spontaneously combust.

I heard a commercial on the radio yesterday for GE brand caulking. At the end, the voiceover guy said;

"Now you can have a high-powered caulk with no sticky, gooey mess afterward."

Really? By the tone of the commercial, I honestly don't think they intentionally did this to be humorous...

I've always wondered if Chernobyl was far worse than they said. Look at the rise in immune deficiency diseases and autism... We're killing ourselves slowly.

I use the same, Minwax. I've never seen that warning before however.

I know enough not to smoke while using chemicals, what I worry about is the oil furnace kicking on as I do all my woodworking in the basement.

I worry about everything I guess.

We have to remove a dying 50+ foot pine tree from our front yard. So far the estimates are $1,810 and $1,980. I can't wait to see the rest of them

That seems to be a good price for a large tree. I paid $750.00 for one large pine to be taken down.

You do get better prices on a per tree basis, if you have more than one being cut.

Allergies have hit with the warm weather. Just used my net pot. I can breath again.

Just wondering if Horrordude is okay after Eva's "wardrobe malfunction" on Letterman this week, or if he's been taking a cold shower for two days straight.

Just got up out of bed ( 2:15 a.m. EST) to get a drink of juice from the fridge...the bottle slipped from my hand and there was juice everywhere. I did clean it up. Back to bed now.

Brand new freaking car and the air conditioner doesn't work. Grrrrrr......
