I think everyone of my hardcore fans will definitely raise a brow on this one, and I suspect that HPL will raise one too, from his grave!

(Loved Cripple Wolf by the way... finally got around to reading the Purple Starter Kit this weekend).

The cover art is pretty badass but I think I prefer the illustrations in the deluxe hardcover. I really had a blast reading this and I'm glad it will finally find a much wider audience now.

Can't deny Tom Moran's work on the Infernal House version was great (love Tom's work)... but I still dig this cover.

Thanks a ton, Jamey. I'm thrilled that you and all of you dug this. For a while I thought to myself, "Well, maybe this is a little much in the sex and violence department." I think I mentioned this on another thread, but I'm fairly sure Hazel will be the protagonist in my down-the-road modern day sequel to Colour of of Space. I can't wait!

Haunter was indeed a great read. Only thing I struggled with was the New England accents. I have no idea how those are meant to sound. Fortunately there were a few southern rednecks too.

Question for Ed (SPOILERS HERE for those yet to read Haunter).

Regarding Hazel being the protagonist in Colour out of Space sequel, isn't Hazel's Earth (with Hazel on it) about to be stomped underfoot by a big Lovercraftian beastie as of the end of Haunter?

Yes, I suppose the New England accents are a bit much; I've always had a problem toning such things down. There's lots of it in Dunwich Romance but I felt it necessary since the original story by HPL had lots of it. When I do my final line-edit, I think I'll smooth some of that out. As for Hazel, well, perhaps the stars were quite right just after Haunter, therefore she can live a while longer before the "earth is cleared off." Thanks and take care!

To be honest, I haven't pondered Cristina's adventures in the future, but...it's something to think about. Glad you got a good gross-out from Haunter. There's more in that well!
