Just finished it a few days ago. I thought it was great, especially the end. I'm already looking forward to Pages Torn from a Travel Diary, and Haunter in trade paperback.

It's great getting an entertaining fix of Lovecraftian fiction and I have to get it from the likes of Ed and Tim Curran because Lovecraft himself bores me to tears.

Finished TROLLEY today. Good God, Lee! What a sick, deranged, perverse little book! There was one sequence, and I think you know the one, that made me nearly sick. I had to put the book down and take a breather. Good read. I'm definitely amazed by Lee's talent. He goes way further than anyone else out there.

Yes, I believe I know which scene, and when such a scene makes a reader queasy, I guess that means I'm doing my job. Thanks for picking it up! Next one out from Deadite is Haunter of the Threshold, and I think it's got some scenes to top anything I've done thus far.

I finished Trolley a couple of days ago. Loved it, especially the little punchline at the very end. Had me giggling into my beer in the Vancouver aiport bar.

I was wondering if the language was going to be too Lovecraftian for me during the first few pages but as soon as the trademark Lee humour kicked in it was plain sailing. It was great reading references to "nut" and "jism" in amongst Lovecraftian writing. I always raise a smile when reading about "nut". Ed Lee and "nut" go together like Laymon and "rump".

Having read through a few reviews on Amazon, it never ceases to amaze me that people don't get the intended humour in Ed's work. People complaining that the whore's were using language that would not have really been of the time etc. Does comedy completely sail over these peoples' heads?

Haunter if the Threshold is in the post as I type. Can't wait for that one now.

John: yes there does seem to be a lot of "nut" in my work. Hmmm. And a whole LOTTA nut in Dunwich Romance. Maybe I should get counseling. Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for ordering Haunter. Great ready for a TON of nut...
