Ordered mine as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are even sold by amazon's German branch (not at all a given for anything small press), which offers free shipping to Austria. I'm hoping for much more from where these two came from!

I read BRAIN CHEESE in a single sitting and am now demanding more easily obtainable Ed Lee short stories! I'll never get how the short story as a narrative artform has become so unpopular with readers and, as a result, publishers. There's a different kind of pleasure to be derived from a well-crafted short story than what can be gotten out of a well-written novel. And these were all very good to excellent stories. Not a single dud in the bunch as far as I'm concerned. BULLET took me two days but only because the redneck-speak in the REFRIGERATOR novella slowed me down a bit. Which isn't meant to say I didn't enjoy it because I chuckled throughout the entirety of Micah Hayes' adventures.

I just finished BULLET and absolutely LOVED it! My favorite is Ever Nat....I nearly fell out of bed laughing when I saw where the title came from!!! My husband is like WTF???? I told him, and he thought it was funny too, even though he was still kind of sleeping. Starting Brain Cheese Buffet tonight....better go to bed now and read. Great job, Lee!!

It looks like "octopus of the mouth". A rather rare disease formed by the hanging of octopi from the first portion of the alimentary canal. ; )

Indeed, friends, it's about five pounds of raw octopus. When the photo shoot was done, I ate it, naturally. Next time I'll try to find a really big squid!

ordered my copy of brain cheese buffet through amazon...they show the book as being in stock but says the shipping estimate is november 1st.....what's up with that?
