I ordered a copy of this. Now I gotta see what BLP is going to do about a lettered. I usually pick lettereds up on the secondary market for half price but this one worries me. I think I need to get a fresh one if I can!!

Thanks for pre-ordering it, folks. If you're an HPL fan, I think you'll dig it. I merely wrote a long Lovecraft pastiche around Lovecraft's dream-fragment called "The Thing in the Moonlight." Re-read that if you can. (It's in the HPL collection entitled The Tomb & Other Tales.)

Paid for mine through Camelot today. Hopefully it'll be here Monday or Tuesday. I'm going to read some of The Best of Lovecraft this weekend to get ready....

Just finished Trolley No. 1852. Great looking book as others have said. Great, great story. I had a smile on my face throughout the whole read...lot of fun. Kudos, Ed. And I always knew HP was twice the man I am.

I LOVED this story...the prose was beautiful...makes me sad that no one writes like this...great story...may be my fave by Lee...it is that good. Bloodletting reaslly puts out quality books. Going to read HPL's HAUNTER OF THE DARK...then straight into Lee's THRESHOLD.

I finished 'Trolley' up earlier this week and it's an interesting read to say the least. It's strange how such ellegant writing can describe some of the most grotesque sex scenes. That is definately an accomplishment and I'm sure it was a fun challenge at the same time. Great job on this one. And Bloodletting....fantastic job with the book itself.

Thanks much, guys. Imitating HPL's style wasn't easy but the challenge was a ton of fun. In fact, I'm doing another Lovecraft pastiche now in which HPL himself, via his travel journal, happens upon a carnival/freak show in florida!
