Shadogrrl you should come to Necon with us and meet James for yourself! The man is so very special.

I feel badly that I hadn't mentioned Jim's story in this months Horrorworld Fiction page. I read it and enjoyed it and was glad to see it was a continuation of Jim's Bedlam Woods mythos. I had meant to post on it, but got side tracked with other matters. Today is the last day to read it if you haven't.

I also forgot to ask (I am so glad Shadogrrl brought this thread back up) if anyone knows where there is a complete bibliography of Jim's work. Jim mentioned that his web site hasn't been updated in years and it is painfully sparse on details of his work. I did see something that I had not heard of before though, a book called House of Secrets that I have to dig up.

So I have Blood Red, Cherry Hill and Harvest Moon in my TBR Kindle. Then I thought I remembered Blood Red being a sequel or part of a trilogy. is it? Are there more books out yet? on kindle? I'd like to wait until they are all available before I start reading a trilogy.

You might be thinking of the Serenity Falls trilogy.
If not, Vendetta, Cherry Hill, and Smile No More might be considered distant cousins.
And of course Harvest Moon and Blood Harvest are brother and sister.
And Blind Shadows and Congregations Of The Dead are husband and wife.

There's lot's of incest in James's books. : )

I found a wiki on Moore when I was searching for Blood Red trilogy info, too. I remember it mentioning the Serenity Falls. I'll have to check some of those out.

I really enjoyed Mister Whisper from the Eulogies II: Tales from the Cellar anthology. Fireworks was pretty good. I look forward to reading more by Mr. Moore. Any recommendations? I've mentioned that I have Cherry Hill, Harvest Moon and Blood Red in my TBR, which I also need to buy. I'd rather not get into a series right now, maybe another stand-alone, if possible. I'm up for suggestions though.

My first Moore, it got me hooked. There were two sequels also if I remember correctly, one was a young adult book? I believe the other was call Possessions. My memory is a bit hazy as it seems like it was decades ago when I read them.
