Dark Arts Books issues CAGE OF BONES and DARK UNDERBELLY!

Over the past couple months, Dark Arts Books has issued two former Delirium Books titles in trade paperback for the first time ever! Martin Mundt's THE DARK UNDERBELLY OF HYMNS (originally a 100-copy Delirium limited in 2006) was released for the first time in e-book in the spring AND for the first time in paperback last month. If you enjoy twisted horror humor, you need to check this book out. Dark Arts has also reissued Marty's THE CRAWLING ABATTOIR, originally produced by Chicago's Twilight Tales.

I was pretty excited myself this week when MY very first book ever showed up in the mail!

My CAGE OF BONES & OTHER DEADLY OBSESSIONS was originally released as a limited edition hardcover by Delirium Books 13 years ago -- it was only the sixth hardcover release from Delirium. But the title has never had a trade paperback release until this week!

I got the rights back to the collection a few months ago, and re-vamped the e-book to reinstate all of the introductions that the Darkside Digital edition had omitted. And now Dark Arts Books has issued it in trade paperback format as well. The contents and cover artwork are the same as the original -- the only thing different is that there is now an Afterword, and the author bio was updated.

I love Marty's books as much, if not more, than mine (Though I am partial to CAGE, since it was my first release). Hell, I've gotten to work on ABATTOIR twice now - for different publishers. And I pushed hard for Delirium to pick Marty up for some kind of project (which ultimately became the UNDERBELLY collection). So I hope everyone will at least give the bunch a peek. :-)

I have Abattoir, tried it once and had a hard time with it. Will have to give it another go. I admit it was a while ago since I tried it so I can't remember why I had trouble with it. It could have been where I was at the time. Will be downloading Cage.
