Dear friends: as usual, I can only offer multitudinous apologies for not being on the board for so long. I can say, however, that my absence is due to a virtual TON of movie work I’ve gotten done. In the last two weeks I’ve shot at least a dozen new scenes with 6 different actresses, and, excluding a very few minor screw ups, they all went superbly. (I hate to think how much fake blood has been dumped on attractive women’s bodies in this house!) Oh, and you all may get a kick out of this but last weekend, via a last minute decision, I decided to register for this thing in Tampa called Fetish Con, mainly because one of the models I’d been in contact with was attending. Now, I’m not AT ALL into fetish stuff (save, of course, for my alvinoglia, or is it avlinoglia?) but I saw on the website that the place would be jam packed with models for hire, and I supposed I might be about to hire a few to do some scenes, particularly nude scenes. Anyway, I go t this thing and immediately find myself standing like a lost sheep amid a SEA of beautiful young women in fetish/bandage/S&M, etc outfits. And the dealer’s room? They had spanking booths, ticking booths, booths that sold hypnosis videos, drowning videos (fake drowning, thank God), STRANGULATION. My goodness, that a diverse world. Picture me, a rather dull, very UN-hip, 56 year old reclusive novelist wandering around in all of that. (Oh, and there was a BIG porn exhibition, with women sitting on these symbian things.) By the 3rd day, however, I managed to hire a few women to do some nude/gore scenes in their rooms, and it turned out very well.

BTW, for those interested, there are a few new pix on the cityinfernalfilms.com site now. Time has been flying to such an extent that my return trip to Poland was in my face in the wink of an eye: tomorrow I leave. I tried to change the departure date to Tuesday and was told that the Lufthansa would be happy to accommodate that change...for an extra $1200! Hence, I’m leaving Monday, rushed as I may be, and I hope I don’t forget anything. I gotta run now: this old man has to finish packing, but I’ll definitely be on the board again once I’m settled in the wonderful Orbis Hotel in downtown Wroclaw. So far my latest excursion to Poland has been wonderful in spite of some so-so weather and some infuriating near-misses by bicyclists. Why the law grants these 2-wheeled hooligans right of way over a mass-population of pedestrians I'm at a loss to figure. It's like Alex and his Drooges in Clockwork Orange, playing Hogs of the Road, only there on friggin' bikes instead of the Durango 95. I've been able to shoot some crucial movie scenes, plus I discovered a Polish electronic cigarette vastly superior to anything I'm fouond available in US, plus I've been stuffing my face with preposterously good food. Celebrted my Polsih agent's birthday in a dim, tiny bar called Sielanka; got no idea what that means but it's the best "writer-type" bar I've ever beheld. (Oh, the first thing I did when I arrived was purchase a bunch of smoked salmon, plus some tins of salmon roe for dirt cheap instead of sky high prices, got picked octopus, and a wonderful can of fish liver! Everybody please take care and be well! I'll talk to ya soon!

Glad you're having fun and being productive! What are the Polish e-cigs like? I love my Cigavette, but if there's something amazing out there I may have to try it out.

The Polish e-cigs really so seem to be superior to what's available in the states, as well as the fluid and the atomizers. I bought this new e-cig called Control 1 by a company called Volish (it's square!) and the battery lasts a week without having to be recharged. E cigs seem to be big business in Poland, lots more places selling them in stores than here (but I've heard the govt is trying to outlaw them now.) Figures!
