I met an artist who is creating H.P. Lovecraft inspired pictures based on the work of Norman Rockwell. Unfortunately, I don't remember the artist's name, but I thought I would share the picture, anyway.

What a great concept! HPL a la Rockwell! If you find his name please post it. I can already see this guy's version of American Gothic: American Dunwich!

The artist always has a table set up at Cinema Wasteland, the horror movie convention in Strongsville, Ohio, and I will get his name when I go to the October show. I'm hoping that he will have the next picture in the series finished by then.

I bumped into the artist at HorrorHound Weekend, in Indianapolis, this past weekend. His name is Donald England, and his website is:

He has a new Lovecraftian Christmas card, which he hopes to have available as a print next month at CinemaWasteland. (I'm supposed to send him an email to remind him to get it done.)
