It's a gruesome event, vast in scope, and has been pretty much ignored for fifty years.

I don't think its aliens. Why would they come all this way just drink our animal blood? Unless they crash landed here and can't get back to their home planet. But then again, they couldn't have crash landed in all 50 states.

It's really bizarre. I've never thought it was aliens, either. Seems to me they would rather examine the dominant species instead of herd animals. I don't have a clue.

Borderline serial killers, attempting to figure out if they have a taste for butchering human's too.

Perhaps there is a hole in the fabric separating our dimensions. They are probably far more intelligent than we are and use this hole as a door to travel back and forth. Experimenting on these animals is probably equivalent to our high school biology classes.

A hole in the fabric between dimensions could explain the plane, in the news last night, with the huge nose dent at 26,000 feet. They will never figure out what did that. It wasn't a bird because there were no feathers or blood spatters. Pretty strange.

Since about 90% of the real life based characters from The Holey Grail are now dead, I will probably finish the Chip Monk story before my time runs out, I hope. Life really gets strange as you age and you know more dead people than live ones. I imagine people who make it past 100 are in a pretty lonely place without peers most of the time, feeling like there must have been a mistake and they were abandoned.
