Great show as always! I downloaded "The Painted Darkness", waiting for a couple hours to spare so I can listen to it, I actually listened to the intro a couple days ago. I love Brain Freeman's stories in Shivers, this one should be great! Funny how I kept misspelling John's name in my head. I worked on the limited Siren and kept thinking Eh-verson the whole time, lol! |

Looking forward to listening! Just got back from a weeklong vacation and am heading to Gen Con Indy for the next couple of days, so I won't get the chance to listen for a few more days. |

Great show as always. A few points: Mark: Great interviews. I always like when stories include ancient beliefs such as Greek Mythology and the like, so the Sirens book sounds particularly intriguing. On The Corpse King novel (great title!), is it supernatural oriented? Nanci: The news is always interesting to hear and I was glad you mentioned Hobgoblin by John Coyne. I really enjoyed that book. It's the only one of his I've read so far but based on the strength of it I'll probably try another of his out. Jason: Great reviews. I laughed out loud several times while listening to your insight on them. As for obscure horror movies, I've always enjoyed Haunted with Adian Quinn and Kate Beckinsdale. It's a haunted house film based on a great novel of the same name by James Herbert. Thanks to all of you for bringing the show to us. |
