Joseph Armstead
Dark fantasy/horror-suspense author Joseph Armstead's work is often described as "very cinematic and suspenseful" and "non-cliched". A published poet, Joseph's poetry is often a musically rythmic and hardcore journalistic mix, scarily sardonic, wherein interpretations of the world around him are snared in Time in a "snapshot" he shares with readers. Joseph's books are available through Barnesandnoble.com, Amazon.com and Borders.com Moderators: HorrorWorld, Nanci |

Scott F. Falkner
Though best known as a horror writer, self-described "speculative fiction" author Scott F. Falkner loves to mix up the genres. His debut offering, THE FEAST OF CATCHVILLE, a horror novella, broke the single month sales record for Stone Garden Publishing in 2006. In the same year, his first novel, SWAYBUCK, was the publisher's first ever hardcover release. With the Dark Fantasy DELVING trilogy hitting stores soon, a free, online, ongoing Space Opera serial now available, a Dark Fantasy Western in the works, and a slew of other paintings and stories in the wings, something "speculative" is always on the horizon. P.S. Gifford
P.S. Gifford was born on April 28th 1965 in Birmingham, England. He, from a remarkably early age, discovered he was completely fascinated with the written word. By the age of nine he was devouring several books a week, and had more importantly begun to write. In the early 1980's he and his father relocated to the California coast, which he has cheerfully called home ever since. While in college, Paul wrote a few stories, but as he got older alas writing was relegated onto his hectic life's "back burner" and he barely wrote a word of fiction for over fifteen years. However, in 2004 all this was about to abruptly and delightfully change, as that was the year when he realized that despite a serene contented existence an important aspect in his life was missing: the written word. So, once more he began churning out in abundance short stories. And the rest, as they say, is history.<P>

Ben Larkin
Ben Larken's first novel PIT-STOP was an Epic Award winner for Best Horror 2009. It's a ghastly grim reaper tale of 10 drifters who wake up in a roadside diner to learn they're on the way to much darker places. His next book, THE HOLLOWS, is the first book in a series about a haunted and time-twisting apartment complex, and is also nominated for an Epic Award. Larken's latest release is PILLAR'S FALL, the demonic story of a cop forced to chase a demon that hides in a young boy. It has already been described by a Horror World reviewer as "striking gold...with Pillar's Fall, Larken has hit the mother lode!" http://larkenbooks.yolasite.com/ Moderators: HorrorWorld, Nanci |

Dennis Latham
Dennis Latham writes strange fiction (horror or comedy) and is a past active member of the HWA. He has been everything from a road band lead singer to a construction laborer, and has survived war and strange accidents, including a 100 foot fall on to rocks that should have killed him. This living on borrowed time attitude shows up in his writing, but his danger days are hopefully in the past. He still has breakfast weekly with childhood friends he has known for over fifty years, and he wants to spend his autumn years on an Alabama beach with his wife, in between hurricanes and oil spills. Clocktower Books in San Diego has published several of his books and stories in print and in e-book format (Michael In Hell and The Bad Season). Many of his stories and books are available as Nook books from B&N, and through YS Gazelle Books. He has also published hundreds of articles on combat PTSD and has several blogs and one alter ego, The King of Guilford. The script from his last novella, Bad Night In The Holding Cell, is being considered by several producers. He lives in a real haunted house in southern Indiana, where at any given time you may see ethereal people or creatures drift in and out of rooms or appear in the window glass. T. M. Wright
T.M. Wright says, “Without the dead, where would we writers be?” To large extent, that’s been the guiding theme of his literary output for the past nearly thirty years—beginning with his first novel, “Strange Seed (Everest House, 1978)”—on half a dozen “Best of the Genre” lists—and culminating 29 novels later, with “A Spider on my Tongue,” third in the “A Manhattan Ghost Story (TOR, 1984)” <BR>universe, and “I am the Bird,” a novella being published by PS Publishing in the summer of 2006.

While the press was still in its infancy, two NEP titles were nominated for the prestigious Bram Stoker Award, and one of them, The Turtle Boy, ultimately went on to receive this great honor. Every year since, our books have appeared in various Year's Best lists and appeared on many award ballots, culminating recently in a 2005 HWA Specialty Press award which cited the press' overall attention to excellence. Among the authors we have worked with are Tim Lebbon (The Assassin series, Berserk), Kealan Patrick Burke (The Turtle Boy), Gary Braunbeck (In the Midnight Museum), Brian Keene (Take the Long Way Home), Simon Clark (She Loves Monsters), and Michael McBride (Zero), almost all of which have sold out pre-publication. <BR><BR>
