Has anyone picked up "The Strain" by Chuck Hogan and Guillermo del Toro? They're doing a new vampire trilogy. I saw it highlighted on Audible about a month ago and today I saw a huge ad on our local bookstore. I just downloaded an excerpt from audible. Not a fan of vampires but I'm curious. |

Hey Cesar, I haven't picked it up but it seems to be generating a good buzz from what I've heard. I also don't really like vampire stories but del Toro is my favorite director so his being a part of it may make it worth a try. |

I liked the excerpt I downloaded. It was the prologue and featured this sort of fairy tale about a giant, I can see Del Toro's imagery in there. I downloaded the book yesterday with my monthly credit on Audible. Will let you guys know how it was! |
