my delay in response was computer generated (for some reason, i couldn't log onto HorrorWorld). Sounds good, mark. I knew about the anthology with Knost. I need to check up on the deadline, because I was going to try my hand at a ghost story set in Morgantown, by Decker's Creek. And hey Matt, what's new with me? I have a book length poem "Wood Life" (it's in the HorrorWorld Library) coming out in october. Editted an poetry anthology, and that should be out very soon. My follow up (NOT a sequel) to Into The Cruel Sea will be next year, featuring two 15k stories set in Bermuda. |

Yesterday was independence day over here. I'm on holidays till Aug 10 when I go back to university where I work as Head of Practice in Multimedia. Want to take it easy but been tackling some web work and book layouts that are pending. I'm also learning multimedia scripting which is taking much of my time. On the relaxing front there's a book fair going on all month close to my house so I dropped by last week and spent quite a bit  . I got:Koontz: The Eyes of Darkness Shadowfires King: Duma Key Roadwork Preston/Child: The Cabinet of Curiosities Still Life with Crows Brimstone Dance of the Dead I'm also trying to get a hang of reading faster, I get distracted too much. "The Haunting in Connecticut" opened today, want to go see it this coming week. Haven't had much luck at the movies lately, hated Transformers, hated Harry Potter, hated The Spirit. |

Hopefully, you'll like all three of my new ones! But as for the Bermuda book, there's a few things. It's called Binge and Purge (One story is titled, "binge" and the other.... you get the point). Anyhow, Purge is set in 1970's, where a woman is menaced by a blob of her own fat. (And it's not a comedy!). There's also a big Farrah Fawcett obsession running through the story. The other in the book (Binge) is set in the 1980's again, and is about a chronically depressed Bermudian-Canadian wedding singer...... Anyhow, if you want, I'll put you the list of people to an ARC when the time comes for that. The plan for that book is basically June-ish of next year. As with you're new book, hopefully you'll be doing a signing someday with Knost at the Barboursville Mall (Borders) next time I'm in West Virginia. |
