My birthday is coming up pretty quick so I've been picking up stuff I want from both E-bay as well as Amazon. One thing I won on E-Bay is a DVD of a British TV movie that is an adaptation of M.R. James great story, A Warning to the Curious. This is my favorite James story (of the ten or so that I have read so far). There is also a Ramsey Campbell interview in the special features. The only problem is, the seller is unsure if it will play on Region 1 (American) DVD players, so I may have dropped $20 bucks on something I can't watch. If worse comes to worse, I may have to buy a region-free DVD player. You can watch the first 9 minutes 42 seconds of it on this You Tube video I found if you're interested. |

I ended up having to watch it at a freinds house who had a player it would play on. It is good though. I guess this wasn't the one with the Ramsey Campbell interview on it though. I may need to think of getting the other one sometime, if I can find a way to watch it whenever I want to. |
