Good one. Still, I have an all time favorite..... I used to live in Asbury Park, which some may know as that Jersey Shore ghost town. What a lot of people don't know, until they move there, is that a large portion of the town is made up of gays and lesbians. Seriously, you can drive around town and lose count of all the rainbow flags hanging from people's houses. Anyhow, there are a couple of significant local eateries. Frank's, for the classic jersey diner fare, and then there's place called the "Chat and Nibble." A lot of the local GLBT hangs out there. (Incidentaly, a lot of straight people do to, because the food is really, really good). Still, the place has all of these old framed pulp novels on the wall. The booth that my wife and I always sat at displayed this wonderful 40.50, or 60's title: "Satan was a lesbian!: |
