David Barnett doesn't spend much time on the web. Here is his personal website.http://www.evilwriter.com/main.html. On the Necro homepage the release date is listed as late January. This is probably one of the most anticipated Necro releases. The lettered edition sold out immediately. It is still listed on the Necro website as an edition of 13 but my understanding is that 26 will be done. David had the unfortunate but increasingly common experience of being laid off from his daytime job. Unsettling no doubt. He mentions that he will devote the extra time he has to writing, publishing, and his Fat Cat Graphics design work for other book publishers. Here's to you Dave!! Whenever you get around to reading this!! Necro Publications is the real deal for me. Nobody else puts out the kind of stuff I like to read except Dave and Necro. In a totally unrelated matter Dave there is one previously published book out there that is scarce, crying out for a signed limited, and the author is willing! Bedlam Books would be a great imprint for COWS by Matthew Stokoe. This book is well written, disturbing, surreal and a total joy to read. It sells for $60 plus for the trade paperback and HCs never come up for sale. I would be happy to get a copy in your hands, Dave. jpokela@netzero.com |

OOPS. Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner. Not a message board guy and I guess I don't have any alerts set up to tell me when people post. INFERNALLY YOURS, as most can tell, has been massively delayed. It is at the printer though...FOR REALSIES, NO FAKESIES. So should be here in about 3-4 weeks. Sorry about this. Just anthologies are a bitch to get out on time. For em at least. Got some new pre-orders coming up within the next day or two, so be on the lookout. And, yeah, lost my job of 15 years back in October. I'm happier on one hand, but on the other have no money. So one of the reasons I'm so far behind is that the design work I do for my 20 or so clients takes priority over everything else since that's what pays the mortgage and bills. I am getting caught up and the next few months will be huge for Necro and the fans of what I and my writers do. So bear with the delays, badass shit is a comin'! Later Dave B. |

I think I will have to keep a daily watch on the Necro website. I have a standing order with Dave for one hardcover of whatever he publishes but that might not be good enough. I might need more. and more. and more....... |
