Well one day you wake up and discover you have a few projects you're excited to work on. Or maybe you don't. Maybe they come on you slowly until one day you realize there's all these interesting projects in front of you. Like me. Suddenly.

Currently in the works:

1. I've started an untitled demonic possession novel about a guy who discovers he's possessed by a demon that plans on finding other possessed people and murdering them so that it can rise in the demonic heirachy. Only problem is a psychic and her demon-hunting sister are coming to stop him.

2. What would my first novel look like as a steampunkish/fantasy novella (or novel)? We're going to find out.

Projects I'm considering:

1. An e-zine devoted to all things zombie. I haven't found any online (if you know of any let me know) and being zombies are as popular as they are, it seems a good idea to have one. Each issue would have fiction, interviews, news, reviews, art and, of course, survival tips. It will most likely start as a "For the Love Of" blog with willing folks contributing articles and such, and if I see there's a readership, I'll set up a more professional website and all that goes with it to try to bring in some income to pay the contributors. Crazy right?

2. Lastly, I'm possibly editing an e-anthology of stories based on legends and folklore of New Jersey. Think a fictionalized version of Weird New Jersey and that pretty much sums it up.

I've given up trying to figure out which project is the "best" one to work on and I'm moving ahead with all four. The e-zine and anthology won't be started until 2012 and I'm hoping to have both up and running by Halloween 2012. We'll see how well that goes!

Gary . . .
