Oh man...I truly despise Jim Carrey, so would go a country mile to avoid seeing him as Crowley. Back in his prime, I'd say Jack Nicholson would have been an interesting choice. Nobody has a smile as laced with menace as old Jack. Course the question is, who could pull it off today? That, however, will require a bit more thought on my part...and a bit of skimming back over the books to refresh my memory of a clear description of our man Crowley. Why do I keep thinking he's short... |

Actually, Christian Bale WOULD be great. He's got the right intensity. But they'd have to make him a little less pretty. crowley should not look like a stud muffin. He should look completely forgettable. |

Someone with a mix of Milo Ventimiglia and BJ Novak's frame. A little older looking. I CAN actually see Jim Carey doing it, but perhaps a younger, darker Carey. My brain is close to frying just contemplating who would work best in that role... |

Okay, so, here's what Alan Clark came up with for what Crowley looks like. What do you think, folks? ![]() |

Oh my God! Put long and wild hair on that guy, round out his chin and take away some of the sharp angles on his face, put a sparkle in his eyes and a smile on his lips, flesh out his face just a little bit more, and then wrap a bandana around his brow....and he would be a dead ringer for you James! A coincidence? I think not! Wow! Clark did a great job! Tt |
