Hi, all. I'm back again from my latest week long stint (and I missed the snow!) This trip reminded my why I LEFT Maryland; the weather's intolerable, but at least my mother was in decent shape so I can't complain. Thanks, all of you, for your continued presence on the board. Though the gong has been slow I am happy to report that on my most recent trip tp MD I was able to write 3000 more words on Dunwich Romance, and then wrote another 1200 today. It's over 20k words now but I suspect will finish at about 40. It's a ton of fun, though, I think I can safely say. We're seeing the "gentler" side of
Wilbur Whateley...except when miscreant Dunwichers do something to displease him. I finished an interesting "Obsborn's General Store" scene today that started to make me a little sick!

I'm also happy to report I've recently gotten some more bites on upcoming projects which, believe me, is a welcome thing in this economy! More on this as matters developed.

Now, I'm going to have my first beer in quite a while! Thanks again, everyone, and take care and be well!

Best,
Edward Lee

Glad things are well with your Mother and that you are getting some writing done! Looking forward to getting Pages Torn this month!

And, by the way, where is the invite for that beer? Bastard...

Folks: tomorrow, again, I must go to MD, and won't be back till the night of Jan 26th. But I did get some more work done on Dunwich while in FL; it's now over 24k words. Slow but sure! The story is getting cooler and cooler (and, ah, grosser!) Also, there will likely be 2 more Deadite reprint collections in the near future; right now I'm working with the editor on the content. During my trip to MD, I hope you all have a great week! Thanks and take care,

Edward Lee

Two reprint collections? That's great news. I hope they won't contain too many (or any) stories from The Ushers which I just recently got.

Also good to hear about your progress with Dunwich Romance.
