I hope it's OK if I start a topic on Deadite Press. There have been some questions on this board asked about it and we got a new website up for the press. Check it out. ![]() |

It looks like you have become a publishing machine! Congratulations on your ability to discern the need for tasteful, erudite novels involving bloody zombies and machete wielding female maniacs. Keep your head up and your standards low! We are all kinda inured to the usual. Mommies feeding joy juice to their wee infants? Yeah, we need to read this stuff. |

You should work on the availability of your titles on the non-American amazons. I'd like to order ZOMBIES AND SHIT and ROCK AND ROLL REFORM SCHOOL ZOMBIES but the German amazon insists that ZOMBIES AND SHIT is out of print and has never heard of ROCK AND ROLL REFORM SCHOOL ZOMBIES. |

Austria? Cool! I think wetbone's from there too; did I mention that a publisher called Voodoo Press is publishing a translation of Innswich? Thanks much for your support! Edward Lee |

Yes, of course, youre right. I did get a bite on some of my Lovecraftian stuff from a German small press publisher but not only have I not heard back from them, I can;t remember the company's name! Don't get old! Best, Edward Lee |

Lee - the German publisher is Voodoo Press at www.voodoo-press.com. They are also doing a translation of my book, Shatnerquake. |

There's no way I'd ever read a German translation instead of the original English version but that's still very cool and I am sure appreciated by plenty of fans. Should be fun for those German readers who are only familiar with the translations of the INFERNAL series (by German publisher Heyne) to delve into Ed's more... outré work. |

I sure hope they like it; I need to rack up more sales there, knock on wood! I only wonder how hardcore that audience of publisher would tolerate, though... Edward LEe |

![]() I Destroyed Your Life I Raped Your Wife I Am the Fucking Whargoul From the killing grounds of Stalingrad to the death camps of the holocaust. From torture chambers in Iraq to race riots in the United States, the Whargoul was there – killing and raping. It is a beast bore in bullets and shrapnel, feeding off of pain, misery, and hard drugs. Cursed to wander the Earth without the hope of death, it is reborn again and again to spread the gospel of hate, abuse, and genocide. But what if it’s not the only monster out there? What if there’s something worse? From Dave Brockie, the twisted genius behind GWAR, comes a novel about the darkest days of the twentieth century. The modern world is dying and Brockie is here to put a bullet between its eyes and violate the corpse. This is all-out fucking war! ![]() An intense sadistic tale of how one man will save the world through sterilization. When Todd was just a child, he learned that sometimes it was necessary to sterilize or euthanize animals in order to keep their population from growing too rapidly. It was the humane thing to do, the best thing for the environment. Yet, every day at his job at the Welfare Department, Todd sees the dregs of humanity multiplying unchecked, overburdening the earth with a tidal wave of waste, abuse, and cruelty. But if he can convince them not to reproduce, if he can convince everyone to voluntarily sterilize themselves, then he might just prevent the coming population explosion. And those who can’t be convinced… Population Zero is the story of an environmental activist named Todd Hammerstein who is on a mission to save the planet. In just 50 years the population of the planet is expected to double. But not if Todd can help it. From Wrath James White, the celebrated master of sex and splatter, comes a tale of environmentalism, drugs, and genital mutilation. They’ll be out just in time for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other gift-giving time you may have with with family/friends. Edward Lee's The Haunter of the Threshold will also be out this December. Expect an official announcement very soon . . . |

Definitely going to get the new Wrath James White. I thought YACCUB'S CURSE was quite silly but overall I'm a huge fan of his work. Between POPULATION ZERO and POISONING EROS 2 it's going to be one hell of an end of the year for White! I already own the Infernal House hardcover edition of HAUNTER so I can tell all those who have not been able or willing to pay the big bucks for it that they're in for a real treat when the paperback hits. It's a great read. |

Don't be afraid to read your beautiful books! I think that the best measure of a book is how it feels in the hand and how it reads. This is why I hate reading mass market paperbacks. It is too tough to get lost in the story. The medium(aka crappy small print in a tight binding) gets in the way. I also take the dust jackets off when I read because they don't feel good and generally a hassle. A nice leather bound book that isn't toooo big is the best. Read your books!!!! |

Get Population Zero. Trust me, it's my favorite novella Wrath has put out thus far. Very entertaining, very disturbing. |

Announcing the 2011 schedule. Including the joining of Brian Keen and J. F. Gonzalez to the Deadite Press family: Last year, Deadite Press took a steel pipe to your kneecaps. In 2011, it’s a full-on shotgun blast to the face! |
