Hey everyone, I just put up my hardcover copy of the anthology, Dead Cats Bouncing on Ebay. It contains the Edward Lee story, Other Cat, which I don't think has ever been re-printed anywhere else. Holy Popeye!! I am going to help bid that one up. I lucked into a treasure trove of old NECRO HCs late last year. I got 7 HCs of INSIDE THE WORKS and 5 HCs of DEAD CATS along with 30 copies of TPBs of every early title except for HEADER. sold em all (almost, hee hee). The dead cat dealeo seems to have a market. I blame that on that gol darned Brian Keene siggie but you never know........ I sold lots of dead cats for more than you are asking. I know my price point on this one...... |

I am an early bidder. I decide what I will pay and bid that amount. Only for very desired items will I hold off bidding and try to capture with a late one. Are you bidder #1, Jonah? I have a personal copy of this. I bid on this to resell....... |

It has already gone past my max bid. I pretty much operate as a bottom feeder. My last two purchases were a $1 copy of AT THE FOOTHILLS OF FRENZY by Brian Knight, Staley, and .....brainfart..... Brand new unread. Be about the forth or fifth copy through my hands. I paid $22 or so for a paperback of UP OUT OF CITIES THAT BLOW HOT AND COLD by Charlee Jacob. It was on a buy-it-now from England. Damn right I bought it now! This one will probably not be resold. Sold my HC this Spring and pretty much regretted it. MY feeling is that anything that Delirium published will be available in E form in the near future. I just couldn't see owning a $200 copy of a book from a publisher I have given up on collecting. Shane will have to re-buy the rights to much of this older stuff but the authors will jump at the chance at getting new income from old work. After thinking it through I decided to concentrate on owning the best copies I could of Edward Lee editions and anything published by Necro. So what this means is that my collection of Laymon firsts might be hitting the Horror Mall auction site...... |

I'm happy to say that my book sold for $112.50. So if anyone here bid or even won it, thank you soo much. I didn't expect to atually get that much. I'm trying to scrounge up some money for Jack Ketchum's The Woman so this is a huge chunk of change to start with. |

Good going! I sold lots of copies for less than that. Those Dead Cats just keep on being desirable. So now, I wonder if now is the time to sell my spare copy of THE DEAD CAT POET CABAL by Gerard Houarner, et.al. Bedlam Press, 2005....Hmmmm.... Supposed to be 500 copies but I rarely(never) see them. |
