Post subject: | Future Projects mentioned in Ushers |
At the back of The Ushers book, there is a section called "Future Projects". I was wondering if someone could shed light on these and if any had seen the light of day under another title: Strangle Me C.I. Bag of Boy White House Counsel Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Unfortunately I don't own a copy of the The Ushers so I wouldn't know but, I do know he's had some great ideas for stories which as of yet haven't come to fruitation. ( The Big Head Autopsy, hint, hint!!) |

Actually, the more I think about it, C.I. is probably City Infernal. The rest still elude me. |

Not to mention he has had many book which name has changed along the way. Those shown in the back of The Ushers could have already come about under a different title. |

yeah i'm agreeing on the C.I. meaning city infernal and i can only assume that the white house counsel was released as haunted house: and other presidential horrors? maybe maybe....i don't know |

Wow: more blast from the past stuff! Of the "future projects" I'm sorry to say that none will be written. Strangle Me turned out to be too depressing; White House Counsel was my farcical idea about fictionalizing the Vince Foster conspiracy hookum, Bag of Boy was another howler, a "non-fiction novel" that I dramatized based on the experiences (and more than likely B.S.) of a guy I used to work with who'd been a heroin addict; and C.I., believe it or not (yet another non-fiction novel) is a book I wrote (about the sister of a girl I dated who'd been a crack addict and prostitute) which turned out pretty good or at least I thought so, but, lo, I could never sell it. (The C.I. stood for Confidential Informant, and now that I think of it, there are probably A HUNDRED books with the same title. But thanks for asking! Edward Lee |
