Yes! Just snagged the paperback original of this one off of ebay. A one two KO combo today, this one and GHOULS! Great day for me. Money is really tight for me lately and I'm trying to track down all of Lee's books. Snagging a good deal or two on ebay is helping me greatly. You're the man, Lee, and I'm really excited to read your early works!

CREEKERS was my first and still one of my faves. :v

It wasn't until this year that I discovered David G Barrett wrote a heartfelt companion novella called AND THE LAKE SHALL CRY NO MORE (included with Bloodletting's THE BABY) - highly recommend.

Get choice. Creekers is redneck horror through and through!

I remember the bok well (writing a lot of the scenes, I mean). I think it was the last book I wrote on a dedicated "word processor" that had so many glitches I nearly threw it out!

It's funny when you describe the "behind the scenes" scenarios of different stories you have created.
I imagine the various pitfalls involved in such situations and remind myself that...
No matter what field of work you may be involved in, there will always be the customary ups and downs. ;)

Indeed, the downs are prevalent but the ups seem to be quite abundant. I've always managed to--at least in general--work around a lot of them. I have many discarded scenes that were later conveyed into other works.

I finished my old Zebra pb of Creekers a couple of days ago. What a great story it was, and pretty hardcore for a pb! I do love redneck/inbred/hillbilly horror

Thanks much. I have fond memories writing it. Plus, it's looking like it might sell in Germany and Poland, which would be wonderful!

Best,
Edward Lee
