found a used copy of succubi for 5.74 at abebooks.com...does anyone buy from these people and are they reliable on the accuracy of condition...in the description it says "name/personal greeting inside cover"...is this refering to a signed copy??? |

Hey mypaperpast, just a heads up: The Necro re-releases of both Incubi and Succubi have parts that weren't in the original paperback publications, and if you like The Black Train (which I'm acknowledged in, how cool is that?), then you should really pick up GAST, the original version of The Black Train. It's worth it. |

The paperback version from Berkley in 1992 is the first edition. The upside down cross from Necro is the first hardcover edition. Dave Barnett of Necro then released a signed trade paperback and now an Ebook. When Abe.com or anyone else writes "name/ personal greeting" in a description it 99% of the time is not from the author. It means "Happy birthday Jimmy from your Aunt Melba." type of stuff. Succubi, Incubi, and Coven are real cool reads. The Bighead was incredible. I will never get over how Ed wrote back then. Over-the-top and very involving at the same time. |

thanks for the help...i didn't end up buying that copy...just wasn't to sure about that name/personal greeting thing and i'm glad now that i didn't...coven was a great read i believe and i completely agree...although lee is an amazing author and i enjoy every book i've read so far...i tend to enjoy his older works better...keep em coming lee...you're still the freakin man... |
