Great news Larry. I got my notices. Also, for those of you who haven't seen, Larry posted pics over at Horror Mall. They look absolutely stunning. As I have said before, this is my most anticipated book of the year. Real excited. |

On page 33. Quite nice. Typeface is very readable. The black on black cover guarantees this thing is going to be lost on the bookshelf. Understated. I don't feel as if I yet understand what Larry Roberts was going for with this design. It feels great. Impervious to all acids and liquids. Handled the blowtorch test well. Hmmmmmm. Deliberately styled to fly under the radar? A 21st century stealth book? Hmmmmmm....... |

OK. I got it. The red across the top of the pages. Looks like the tanning effect some books get. As if the top is sun-burned, the rest less affected. The over-all look mimics the typical old book that has lost it's dust jacket and sat in the sun for a few decades. Do I get the prize????? |
