I recently got the urge to reread TROLLEY NO. 1852. Some of the scenes have been haunting me since I read it the first time. Anyone else have that same extreme urge to reread a Lee book you read not too long ago? If so, which ones? |

Thanks for checking it out, and thanks for the compliment. Actually, the story on which it is based, HPL's fragment, "The Thing in the Moonlight," was a nightmare he had once. I remember decades ago, after reading it, I had nightmares of dudes with similar white cone faces. Groovy! Best, Edward Lee |

Re-reading this book sounds like a great idea. Rarely has language taken me in as much as TROLLEY 1852. I rate this book as one of the most effective I have ever read. |

I never re-read any books, but I can see myself re-reading Edward Lee in the future because all of his non Leisure stuff is just so funny. |

Family Tradition and City Infernal are good re-reads for me. Family Tradition was my first Lee book and just cracks me up every time I read it. And City Infernal is just a solid fun book. I'm also not one to re-read many books though...way too many things to read and not enough time to read them. I somehow missed out on Ever Nat. Anyone know if it's still obtainable? |

I can say that Ever Nat will be reprinted in a novella collection soon, but I won't mention details as I don't want to jinx it. As for rereading, I jus posted on another subject that during my recent 2 week trip to MD, I reread M.R. James story "The Ash-Tree" 12 out of 13 night in a row! If you haven' read this story, check it out 'cos it's absolutely cool. Edward Lee |
