Folks, just wanted to wish you all a wonderful holiday season before I leave town for a week. I couldn't be more grateful for your support over all these years. Thank you! As for current projects, I'm about 2 or 3 days from finishing my 50k-word novel GOING MONSTERING, then I immediately go into the revisions for the GAST mass-market paperback, which I'm REALLY geared up for. I'll keep you all posted on publisher/date for MONSTERING and whatever the final title will be for the GAST pb. Take care, all of you! Edward Lee |

I'm finally back. Had a great Christmas but am relieved to return to the heat of FL. (Oddly, when I left MD, it was 61 degrees, so I guess I shouldn't complain!) As for GOING MONSTERING, yes, it is indeed down and dirty; there's no way Leisure or CD would do it in a million years. But it's a ton of fun (actually, it turned out novel-length: 50k words) and I'd call it a a Smutty Lovecraftian Black Comedy. Don't know the publisher yet but I'll keep you posted. Ed, Hope you had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! I hope this year is even better for everyone... I missed a few weeks on here because my computer crapped out on me--hardware meltdown, quite literally--but thankfully I am back online now. (Although, I still have to send away my hard drive to have professionals back up the contents on a CD since stupid me didn't have ALL my writing saved also on disc. I won't make THAT mistake ever again) Best in 2009, man! Chris |

Chris: for Christmas I got this cool as shit backup thing called a Maxtor One Touch 4 that backs up your entire c-drive with one touch of a button, and even a computer morn like me can use it. Nothing worse than losing stuff and not having it backed up. Later! Edward Lee |
