I read the trio of them and I want more. My god they fucking awesome! Your vision of hell is on par with Clive Barker's from Hellraiser. You need to write more books set in this universe. It would be badass if you wrote a short story anthology set in the Mephistopolis. You could have stories from the perspective of new human damned (or maybe famous evil figures in history and their rise to Lucifer's favor in Hell), and it would be really cool if you did some completely from the point of view of the various demons and creatures lurking about. You could expand the history of Hell, maybe have some stories about the city being built and Lucifer's exploits? Basically, please write more Infernal books! The imagery and mindblowing creativity you've shown in these books is fucking incredible. Keep writing, -Mike Lombardo |

Mike: thanks hugely for the kind words. You must be psychic 'cos there already IS a City Infernal based anthology coming out down the road, tentatively entitled Infernally Yours. Can't say who's in it just yet but so far the contributions look great and it's already closed out. My contribution is a short novel called The Senary, which will be my first "hardcore" excursion into the Mephistopolis (and includes HP Lovecraft as a main character.) Don't know the release date yet, but I'll keep you al informed. I would like to write one more mass-market installment on the theme but, lo, we'll have to see how House Infernals sells first and what the book market looks like in the near future. Thanks much for your interest and support! Best, Edward Lee PS--I went to high school with a guy name Mike Lombardo. You're not by chance from Bowie, Maryland are you? |

An anthology entitled "INFERNALLY YOURS"?? Hey Ed, are you trying to make your fans nut in their pants?! That is some great news! Keep it sick and twisted like you always do. Oh yeah, I keep forgetting to tell you that since I write hip hop lyrics, I laughed my ass off when reading about Scotty Nash in "The Horn-Cranker" |

Come to think of it Ed, I'm guessing you were once a huge Florida Championship Wrestling fanatic. Most of the names in Creekers refer to wrestlers from that organization. Paul Sullivan (Kevin Sullivan *one of my favorites*) Kevin Orndoff (Paul Orndoff) and Blackjack (I'm assuming Blackjack Mulligan.) And lets not forget your story Goon. That tale was loaded with wrestlers who's actual names I could easily guess. Yeah... I was a huge fan of that wrestling time period. Nowadays it's all flash and mainsteam. Kind of a shame really. At least a got a chance to watch it when it was in it's heyday. |
