Infernal House (the new line being published by Larry "Bloodletting" Roberts and Shane "Delirium" Staley) just announced its first two titles. Brian Keene's "Darkness on the Edge of Town" (which is available for preorder now at Horror Mall) and a forthcoming title... A brand new hardcore Lovecraftian novel from Edward Lee, Haunter of the Threshold. Looks like we'll be getting two Lovecraft books from Lee in the near future, the one from CD and now this one. My guess is Infernal will only publish one to two titles a year considering the cost ($175 limited/$1250 lettered). The print run is only 200 copies. By ordering Darkness by Keene, you're reserving a number for right of refusal on future titles. |

Woohoo this is Big news here, the future of the small press. Completely kick ass. I ordered mine immediately when the news hit. Oh and there is a third Lovecraft book coming in the future from Lee, it just hasn't been announced yet. ![]() |

Well I can announce that I'm too poor to read a book that starts at $175. I seen the other has Morrocan Leather and is $1250... that mean it's made from the skin or a real Morrocan? I envy you dudes that have the money to just splurge out you know... but my jobs so shit I don't even have a collar to color. ![]() |

I threw it on a credit card. Thus is life. Those bloodsuckers can wait a while and I'll read on their dime. ![]() |

Yes, folks, Haunter of the Threshold will be my second HPLish project that I write this spring/summer. It was ironic that almost immediately after I got the Innswich Horror deal from CD, this Infernal House offer came upon me. Both of these projects are ones I've been DYING to write (plus, there'll likely be a third or fourth way down the road). I regret the big money these limiteds will cost (lo, the advances were so good I HAD to take them!) but I can promise those who can lay out the cash that they'll be true to form and then some. In the meantime, Golemesque is two-thirds complete and going full steam (with far more negativity and gore than I had previously perceived) and I'm VERY HAPPY with it. Take care and be well, and thanks for your support! Edward Lee |

I was standing on the sidelines about the Keene book which is gonna be the first in the Infernal House books released, then I seen that Ed was gonna be the next, as folks who order the Keene book will get first dibs on the Ed book which will be next, I jumped off that fence and counted out my pennies, all it took was a little message from Larry telling me that Ed says it's gonna be Hardcore and Pornographic... what more can you ask for? I'm really looking forward to this one Ed, more so than the book your doing with Cemetery Dance that I had to join the book club for... you and Brian Keene have emptied out my years worth of book funds allready and it's only the 12 of January. |
