SUBCARNATE is a great fucking title, though... You should resurrect it for another novel, sometime! |

Post subject: | Dude... |
According to the Leisure list of releases for the rest of the year, the two fantastic titles (Order of the Scarlet Nuns and Brides of the Impaler) have been dropped in favor of... Rise of the Vampire... Eh... Stinky. Certainly not Lee's fault but the other two titles had a great ring to them and this just sounds really generic and blah. Can't we protest or start a petition? Rise of Vampire must be stopped and returned to one of its previous titles. I mean, seriously, I would NEVER pick up a book with that title if it didn't have Ed's name on it. Never. It sounds like horror warmed over. |

JADMAN - that was my error. I was working from an outdated schedule. I've fixed the page. The title is BRIDES OF THE IMPALER. Sorry Ed -- don't hurt me. No. Really. Don't hurt me... I'm still traumatized from that time at NECon with you, Dallas and the power tools ![]() |

Good. Using "RISE OF _________" as a title for any movie or book should be punishable by blowtorch to crotch. |

Thank fucking god. I didn't want to be embarrassed to tell folks how good the new Ed Lee was because of the title. Like they'd look at me and be like: "Rise if the fucking Vampire. You're kidding, right?" Long live... BRIDES OF THE IMPALER! |

Jeez, I hope so, Paul. There will indeed be a hardcover by Cemetery Dance; not release date yet but I wouldn't think it'd be too much longer 'cos I've long since turned in the sig sheets. Thanks, all, for your interest! FYI, THE INNSWICH HORROR is half done and kicking butt. There's definitely some shenanigans in this... Edward Lee |
