One of Ed's short stories or novellas really needs to be adapted for a future season of this series. Apparently they had to change the series title to FEAR ITSELF for the third season for silly legal reasons (a change of financial backers) but the concept remains the same. While I never liked more than 3 or 4 of the episodes or short movies from the previous two seasons, I'd still love to see someone like Tobe Hooper or Stuart Gordon take a stab at one of Ed's works.
Or maybe they could bring back Takashi Miike and have him film EVER NAT.
Another bit of wishful thinking? I'd be amused to see what Rob Zombie would do with GOON. He's very hit and miss as a director as far as I'm concerned but GOON seems like a perfect fit for his white trash sensibilities. And he could have his wife play the hot you-know-what.
