Hey Ed, Picked HI up at Borders tonight. Looking forward to digging in after knocking off my current read. Should kick much ass, as I thought Infernal Angel was even better than the great City Infernal. Matter of fact, I think IA is one of the most underrated of all your mass-market releases. Bryan |

Holy shit! I guess the author is always the last to know. I thought House Infernal was coming out next week. Bryan, thanks for picking it up, hope you like it. It's coincidental you posted 'cos I was just now struggling to locate you email address to let you know that I finished Freakshow whilst traveling to MD last week and really loved it. A great gory ton of fun! Keep up the great work! Harvester, man, I WISH I knew when the hardcover was gonna be released. I've been told, however, that the CD site says it's available now, so I suspect it'll ship soon. Thanks much, all! Best, Ed Lee |

Not sure if I can read it now or if I can wait for the CD hardcover. It's always good to try and keep something Lee in reserve just incase. |

Hey Brian Smith....your no lightweight yourself. I really dug the crap out of Deathbringer and Freakshow. Actually those two books put you right at the top with the other hardcore mf's. |

Post subject: | Can't f**king Wait! |
Ordered House and Minotauress off Bloodletting yesterday. Also the Laymon retrospect edited by Kelly. Jack, the UK rules. Scored the lettered version of Sex, Drugs, & Powertools from ebay/uk. Number #5 out of only 26. Fucking Sweet! Like 90 euros ($200. amercan) but well worth it. Ed, keep up the great work! Can't wait to read your new books. I think the only one I haven't read is Death to the Cold War Kings(Is that what it's called, I forget?). Bryan, I'll have to check out your new book and your site! Peace from Idaho y'all! |

Post subject: | Bryan Smith tried to kill Stephen King! |
Ha, ha, typed Bryan's name into google and it turns out he is dead and is the guy who hit Stephen King with his car back in the day. Just kidding Bryan but it is funny that you want to meet King and you have the same name as the dude who ran him down. |

Yeah, it's pretty weird. And you know what else? My birthday is June 19. The date of Stephen King's accident? June 19. Freaked me out at the time. |

Finally finished House Infernal a couple days ago and enjoyed it immensely. Finely and vividly drawn depictons not only of hell but also the coastal town where the earthly portion of the book was set. Stuffed to the brim with trademark Lee grotesque imagery, this book has whetted my appetite for even more stories in Ed's hell mythos. Hopefully there'll be many more to come. |

Post subject: | Are the Hardcovers Shipping? |
Bloodletting still hasn't charged my card for the House hardcover so I'm assuming they aren't shipping yet. Damn, I'm gonna have to be like Jack and buy the Leisure copy while I'm in Boise today checking out DOWN. Heavy Metal and Horror go so good together! |

Post subject: | Speachless.... |
Man I just got House Infernal YESTERDAY, and started reading it Right Away. it is now 24 Hours since I Started it and I am almost done with it. ![]() ![]() I have read Infernal Angel, and now I am reading House Infernal, and I am just Speechless as to the Scope of the World itself, and the Detail in the Tales you Tell. Not only that, but the Nature of the Tales themselves. Very Few Places do you actually find someone that is Willing and Able to take a Reader to the Very BOWELS of Hell, and make it where the Reader Likes being there [though they may be a little Uncomfortable being there], and can't help but Continue to Read [if for no other reason than to see how the story Ends]. But Honestly, your use of Description in your Storytelling is Amazing, and the Images that you Describe are Beyond Belief. Above all this I would like to say Thank You for the Books... Keep the Great Books coming. |

Chris, Thanks for getting the books, and glad to hear you're enjoying Freakshow. Yeah, right now the only way to get House of Blood is used, but it's scheduled to reprinted at some point in the next few months. Bryan |
