Outstanding; there she is. I also liked the zombie makeup they did on her, and the stock footage "nuke" stuff in the beginning of the flick. As for HPL, yes, "The Senary," is the project that has his appearance...though I hope I don't go to Hell for writing it, or get assassinated by a Lovecraft diehard. (Wow, maybe I should think about this...) Edward Lee |

Will we see Ezoriel and his Satan Park Contumacy in this book? |

Maybe the HPL diehards will forgive you, since you wrote In the Year of Our Lord: 2202, which also happens to be one of my favorites. ![]() |

I can't wait to read The Senary. I'm currently into GAST.. It's actually on my night table right now. It's a great "right before bed" book, heh. But I'm confused as to why some have said it wasn't "hardcore" enough. It's pretty sick (in a good way). And I love the flashbacks especially since I love that time in history. And when Ed writes a character having sexual thoughts.. damn, they're pretty freakin' realistic. OH, I also just read Brian McNaughton's SATAN'S LOVE CHILD and found that I could sort of see how it influenced some of Ed Lee's stuff though I didn't find it as good as I expected (but if I had read it during the time of publication, I would have probably loved it to death). But I liked the subtle lovecraft touches. Anyway, needless to say, I am always eagerly waiting another Lee book!! ![]() |

Jordan: thanks for checking out GAST. I hope you like it through the end. That's totally cool that you managed to procure a copy of Satan's Lovechild. One of my all time horror faves (I think McNaughton said he got $750 for it from Carlyle. Should've been ten times that! Best, Edward Lee |

Don't worry, folks, I won't be cutting anything out of The Senary (I always fret over these things, though--a hazard of my profession). As for sequels and prequels, I have many things in mind. I just have to see how the market goes. Minotauress is sort of a prequel to Horn-Cranker, while next summer I hope to write a sequel to Header which will be like nothing anyone can imagine. I hope everybody has a great week! Best, Edward Lee |

Here's the info on Brian McNaughton (who died, by the way, in 2004). The 3 Satan books were re-published about 6 years ago, with his preferred titles, as: Gemini Rising (Satan's Love Child) Down to Darkness (Satan's Mistress) Worse things Waiting (Satan's Seductress) I was able to get these from Amazon a few years ago, even though I also have the originals (as well as The Poacher). Amazon is selling a bio of Brian for $9.95. Not really worth it, and if you are at a college or university, try the library; it is a Gale electronic publication. Pegleg |

Doubt Leisure would touch it due to the extreme nature of it but also that it's only a short story, I'm sure if Ed does write a prequel or a sequel then Necro would be sure to re-realse it. |
