Recently discovered Karl Edward Wagner's works. So I picked up the first five books of Kane (Original cover art done by frank Frazzetta!) for $40.00 But the best deal going was finding his hard cover short story book entitled *Midnight Sons* Camelot books sells new copies of this beauty for $300.00. I picked the fucker up on bid -brand new- for a cool $45.00!!! I am sooooo fucking stoked!!! Just thought I'd share my enthusiasm with you all. peace! |

How do those sorcerer books compare with the nightmares that Mr Lee writes? I was also recently successful on Ebay. Sex drugs and power tools for $76! I read Header and the Pig and based on the stories, it was worth alot more. |

Well, I've always been a fan of fantasy stories as well as horror so I guess it's just all in a matter of taste. Wagner's Kane is a formidable character. A 6'2", 300lb, immortal, who's strength is comparable to that of a mountain gorilla with a battle prowess to frighten the mightiest of strategists. Not to mention the fact that he acts only in means that suite his own desires -whether they be deemed as good or evil-. |

Splatterhead: wow, that's some SERIOUS buckage you laid out for the 1st ed of Bighead. I hope you like it! (For that kind of money, it would really suck if you didn't!) As for the Straker books, I've seen high prices for those but, I'll be honest with you, save your dough. They suck! Later, Edward Lee |

I just picked up a fantastic deal. I spotted a confused eBay posting about Richard Laymon's BITE. The entire description was about a mass market paperback. But there was a mention about a hardcover...........So I emailed the owner. He said it was a hardcover just like "this link." I clicked the link and it sent me to a description of a different paperback. I wasn't putting up with this BS and I bought the freakin book. There probably isn't another copy out there like this. Headline first edition. Near perfect condition. The plastic wrapper it was in fell apart as I opened it. Probably stored in it since 1996. Glossy cover. No tanning of the pages which is so common in Headline hardcovers. I open the cover and what do I find? A signed bookplate from Richard Laymon! It is dated 1996 and comes from Overlook Connection Bookstore! Nice steal for $14 or so. Huh? |

This book is going back on eBay. Have no doubts! I will, however make sure it has an accurate description this time, along with pictures of the book plate and the general fantastic condition of the book! |
