Something that would remind me of Lees works. I need something backwoodish and manical. Someone anyone, give me some ideas. I have horror on the brain. |

You done with all the Charlee Jacob, Wrath James White books? Monica O'Rourke, or the Necro book DUET FOR THE DEVIL, are hardcore. Brian Knights HACKS is very backwoods. You done with all the Laymons? He's pretty hardcore. If you've done all them, I'm afraid there's nothing that comes close, at least not that I know of...anyone else know any more stuff then I'll be happy to hear about them too. |

Nope. Not done with all them. Thanks for the suggestions though. They're a few you mentioned that I'll now be checking out soon. |

All great suggestions, I love all those authors. I might also suggest some Jack Ketchum, probably Cover, The Lost, Off Season, and Offspring. I just bought a copy of Brett McBean's The Last Motel, which is supposed to be very Laymonesque. I Will check the bookshelf for some more ideas. Edit: Oh I really like David Moody, Brian Keene, and Steve Gerlach as well. Maybe J. F. Gonzalez's Survivor, thats rather hardcore as well |
