Lee and Keene are my favorite authors. Neither has written anything I didnt love.
Now if I could just get them to cowrite a novel about Zombie Orgies.

I really have to give Edward Lee credit for getting me to read again. I had read King back in the 80's and early 90's, but never really strayed. Then when King's writing changed, I just stopped reading altogether. For several years. Then about 4 1/2 years ago, I got a copy of City Infernal and started to read it. BAM! I was hooked on Lee's stuff. I scavenged for everything of his I could get my hands on. His early stuff was especially music to my eyes. (of course, my eyes) So a big thank you to Edward Lee. And to Shocklines.com for showing me a different side of Horror Lit I never knew existed. A world with Edward Lee. My favorite writer ever. |

i will have to agree with you here, Edward Lee is also my favorite author of all time. he's amazing, and i believe he is far more superior than king in his writing style. |

Thanks all, very much, for the compliments. A Zombie Orgy? Now why did I think of that? Brian is a good friend and great writer; I'd love to cowrite something with him someday...but I'll admit hands down that he does the Zombie thing much better than I do! Sorry I haven't been on the board much--my HOUSE INFERNAL deadline is ticking away, but I'm very close to being done (and am hugely happy with it so far.) I've also been nagged intermittently by further ideas for my future Lovecraft novel. My God, I can't wait to write it! I think it will be called THE CRYPT. Best, Edward Lee |

Hi there everyone this seems to be a good place to start instead of another I love Edward Lee books thread and using up Horroworlds server 
I am from Australia and like the OP read S King books anyhoo long story short a few months back I read City Infernal and Infernal Angel. I bought these off ebay off a person i had bought off before and the other books were a great read so i thought what the hell Ill get these books too. If Id known before how good City Infernal was Id have paid more for it - haha. This book absolutley kicks arse and I finished it in 2 days.What a great story Infernal Angel was good too better than S Kings books of late anyway my only complaint is that I thought it sucked that the girl eneded up in a mental institution a great read but not as good as infernal Angel. I have a few others yet to get my teeth into monstrosity the backwoods and triage. How come you do not see Edwards books here in Aus? they should be and if the others are as good as or better than City Infernal and Infernal Angel Ill be reading this author for years to come Dave |
