The recent discussion on Vampire Lodge caused me to want to create a topic where we could post, or make known, the books we so badly want to see published but have not yet recieved the releases they deserve. Mainly, i would say this means they havent been released in Hardcover/Deluxe editions and just paperback, or not at all. For me, the following are the highest on the list right now... Ill start with Edward Lee... Vampire Lodge... (This NEEDS a hardcover) Header... (Would love to see a solitary Hardcover/Lettered release of this one) Now other Authors... High Life...(Matthew Stokoe) Empty Mile...(Matthew Stokoe) Colony of Whores...(Matthew Stokoe) Survivor...(JF. Gonzalez/This needs the oldschool Bloodletting Press Ultra Deluxe Metal Traycase Edition) Also the rest of J F Gonzalezs work that never saw Hardcover Ill add more as I think of them |

Wasn't Vampire Lodge the young adult/children's horror book? I'm pretty sure I read that one somewhere, at some time. Hell, I'd love to have another special edition of Gast and/or Bighead. Those are without a doubt my favorite two Lee books. |

The Gonzalez books are being done now by Thunderstorm Books called THE DARK WORLDS Line. So far published FETISH, RETREAT & PRIMITIVE ( limited to 18, 20 & 22 copies respectively). Gorgeous lettered editions with many more titles planned. Akashik Books published COWS (65 limitation) and EMPTY MILE (85 limitation) in disgustingly awful hard cover productions. |

Kresby: Are these books released yet? I already have Thunderstorms Retreat, and I know Delirium did Primitive quite a while ago... Are the Thunderstorm versions already released? I cant seem to find anything online about these aside from a small post on a forum. Does this mean there is now another version of Retreat and Primitive? If your limitations are acurate, why the hell would they print so few? Yes, those Matthew Stokoe released were TERRIBLE... I bought the signed Cows, its litterally just a little foil stamped book, no dust jacket and the pages arnt even trimmed. Matthew Stokoe deserves MUCH better than this as he writes some of the most impressing books I have ever read and has, thus far, recieved the shaft from the publishing world. Colony of Whores was incredible!!! I agree with you DeFratHO, reprints of The Bighead and Gast would be amazing, but let not forget Creekers on that list. I would save my cash right now for new Chadbourne illustrated Lettered Copies of each of those. |

Also, id like to see Edward Lee's Ghouls get a regular hardcover. The Deluxe was GREAT, but it just looks so much better when you see it sitting next to the hardcover. |

Amazingly, I've never gotten to Creekers. I've even started it a half dozen times lately, but it never grabbed me the way others did. It doesn't help that I'm listening to 3 separate audiobooks and trying to read another 3 or so plus Creekers. I've just got to set my mind to it. But I'd still buy it in hardcover. ![]() |

I will do that, thank you Kresby. Cant believe I missed out on these, im usually well on top of whats comming out. Also, you can still find reasonablly priced copies of Colony of Whores, but you know how people like to jack prices up online. I bought mine the day it was released, which actually wasnt an official release. The book, as it is right now is still unpublished as no publisher this far is willing to touch it. The copies available online are copies Stokoe made available for those who really wanted it, but not enough were printed to compromise the chances of it beig picked up. Hontestly though, if you can find a copy, you will likely be glad you did so. Stokoes writing in this book is incredible and the story is so thought out and origional. The release I am waiting for right now is MABLE... Its an add on book to J F Gonzalezs Survivor. Wrath james White was slated to have it written last year, using J F Gonzalez's notes and story idea. I hope its still happening cuz I cant wait to read this story. In email conversation with J F just before hos death he stated to me that he was in the process of writing three more books that held hands with the premis of Survivor, expanding the world by telling stories with the same characters and Snuff ring. Excuse the spelling mistakes... Ill edit them later... Damn Iphones |

Speaking of hardcovers, I just proofed final galleys for header 3 and got to see all the interior illos by Glen. WOW, are they ass kicking! I'm having lunch with Camelot and Necro this Saturday and will likely get a solid idea of H3's release. Thanks to all for your patience! Best Edward Lee |
