Couple days ago I had the please of having lunch with R.A. Mihailoff who played Leatherface in TCM 3. I've known him 20 years but this is the first chance I've had to meet him. Very cool guy. His next flick is called Smothered and sounds like a winner. I've always idolized R.A.; years ago he was in Pumkinhead 2 and got to make out with Linnea Quigley! Hope youre all having a good holiday season Best Edward Lee |

That's awesome! Mihailoff was also in HATCHET 2 and had the single best line of dialogue in that film. |

Oh wow... Mihailoff is the only leatherface who hasnt signed my chainsaw blade. I have Gunner (RIP) and Bob Elmore, but no Mihailoff yet (the rest of the letherfaces dont count). Hopefully he comes to a Canadian Horror con soon. As soon as he signs it I can frame it and mount it on my wall. Always thought Chainsaw 3 was one of the best portrayals of the chainsaw family. The Saw Is Family!! I dont think Leatherface died in the end when he was hit with that rock. I think it just confused him and caused him to stumble all the way to Luntville where he met The Bighead. Their good buddies now. Texas Chainsaw 4: Leatherface Comes to Luntville |

Haha, yeah. I know about that one, The Next Generation, I just dont count it due to it being soooo horrible. I actually kinda liked that newest one entitled Texas Chainsaw, the one where Leatherface has a sister and is living in the basement. Gunner Hanson and Bill Mosely were in it. It was designed to pick up right after the first Chainsaw. It seemed logical enough.m, but still not ad good as the first three. Im three quarters of the way through Pages Torn From a Travel Journal... JEEEEESSSUS CHRAST, THIS IS SOME HARDCORE DEPRAVED SICTION!!! Some how the fact that there was Header mythology escaped me untill BAM!!, I was right there, smack dab in the middle of it. Like Trolly, this is some seriously GREAT WRITING!!! I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER, WHERES HEADER 3????? Put me down for ten lettered copies!!! |

Yes, I liked the 3d TCM too; it was very dense with horrific atmosphere and sick in the head innuendo. As I recall there was a string left untied in the very end, something about the cop? As for TCM Next Generation, that was so bad it WASN'T good! I'll bet matthew m. and rene z both leave that one off their resume! Oh, and you'll also be amused to know that in the book I've just started, White Trash Gothic, "The Writer" from Minotauress returns to Luntville only to discover a clan of affable albinos seen here and there. Get it? Happy New Year! Edward Lee PS-last night I watched New Year's Evil. I remember seeing it in the theater in 1980. It sucked then, and STILL sucks! Also watched Porn Star Zombies and Mondo Gonzo--not exactly a hatful of winners to start the new year off with! |
