Folks: I'm pleased to say that the Elstercon in Leipzig Germany was one of the most enjoyable cons of my life. Lots of fans, lots of enthusiasm, and, foremost, this is a city FULL of book lovers. I was escorted around by my publishers, Frank and Inge Festa, who are outstanding people. I even got to see my books on the shelves of a German bookstore. Oh, and the food and beer was phenomenal. I heartily recommend Leipzig as an important place in Europe to visit (just watch out for the damn bike lanes!) And now I'm back in Florida--a bit fatter--and back to work!
