Many may have already heard but John Pelan, with whom I'd collaborated many times, is in not very good shape in a NM hospital. Early in the week I'd emailed him to give him the good news that our collab Fmily Tradition had gotten a bite from a Russian publisher but, lo, it was not John who'd replied, it was his wife who gave me the bad news. Any prayers, good wishes, etc. are greatly appreciated. Sincerely Edward Lee |

Oh wow, I hope what ever is going on with him, he pulls through. I've yet to read a solely written John Pelan book, but the stuff you two did together in Family Tradition and Goon was some of the funniest stuff I know of existing on this earth (yet to read Splatterspunk, Shifters, and Of Pigs and Spiders, but I absolutely know those will deliver just as well). You two are magic together. I seriously hope he bounces back, just as I hope to one day get the chance to meet him. |

There was an update on Brian Keene's site that said John is home now. Hopefully, he continues to get better. |
