Dear All: I just finished my 1st "film"; it's a short I've submitted to the ABC's of Death 2 Contest. In all, I think the piece is fun, mimicking an old 8mm 1960's porn loop (with a trooper of an actress!). I plan on submitting a 2nd video in a day or two. Thanks for the generous words. However, I guess I've done something wrong; I don't know how to make my clip votable. It says I need a friggin Facebook account with the "sharing" option but I don't know WHAT the hell that means. if anyone can decipher this for me (http://26th.abcsofdeathpart2.com/submit ... uidelines/) please tell me what to do! Awesome job! I made a vimeo account and liked the video. Is that what we do to vote? I did not see another option that actually says vote for this video or anything. Can anyone guide m if I am just missing it here? Also, if it doesn't get picked up to be in ABC's are you going to maybe slap it on one of the dvds of your movies as a bonus feature? |

It's funny you suggested that because my original goal was to do something called The Grossout Alphabet, an obvious spoof on ABCs; I've actually already filmed the letters C, D, E, J, U, and some others, but then I got sidetracked. But rest assured, Magus will be on a full length project one day. As for the ABCs Contest, I'm afraid Magus will die on the vine as I'm not well connected to the whole facebook thing. Up until last night I was working on a 2nd entry (M is for Makes No Sense) but once I had completed all the editing and sound, Window Movie MAker corrupted have the files; hence it became impossible to convert to a format vimeo or you tube would accept. If it wasn't windows movie maker then I guess there's something wrong with ALL THREE of my computers, including a brand new one! Anyway, no more contest for me but the whole thing was a blast nevertheless. The final product, I think, was very entertaining, full of wonderfully horrific imagery, and purveyed some surprisingly good acting--in spite of, I must add--mediocre directing!
