I love that I am living in a reality in which Lovecraft's influence is growing with each year and in which his body of work keeps being pored over by accademics and gleefully obsessed fans alike, getting ever more recognition as what it is: literature at its most powerful. |

Well said! And, DAMN, I forgot about his birthday during which I usually reread one of his gems. Lovecraft is the Ric Flair of horror writers,The Best There Was, The Best There Is, The Best There Will Ever Be. Best Edward Lee PS--there will be a very very Lovecraftian scene in my movie that I'll be shooting in Vegas this Sept. Tentacles are involved! |
