A.you wouldnt have to pay $200.00 for "Sex Drugs and Power Tools"
B.i dont have to cry because someone was selling their copy on EBAY and no one else seemed to notice but me and some other m.f.,and I lost it by $.50, because I fell asleep reading Tim Curran's "cannibal corpse M/C on the Kindle..(great book btw), but i dozed off and LOST "A HARD COVER EDITION OF HEADER FOR $75.00...and it was mint, and beautiful!!! :|

Header will eventually be put out by Deadite Press. I am sure Jeff has stated this fact before. Also, I remember Lee saying something about how his entire back catalog will eventually be released by Deadite (hopefully).
We just have to have patience.

Yes, Deadite announced HEADER as an upcoming release on this board some time ago. Problem is, there seem to be disagreements (about money, apparently) between the rights holders (the people who made the HEADER movie) and Deadite, which have so far prevented a release.

I am pretty sure he is talking about SEX DRUGS POWER for $75. To my knowledge there is no HC HEADER.
I got real lucky in buying a lettered copy of SEX DRUGS from Shocklines. Matt dropped the price of his last copy right at the time that a numbered was selling for $100. I got a lettered for $110.

I swear to cthulu that it was $75 hc of "HEADER" on ebay about a month ago...by edward lee. It was red, older looking yet mint condition, a cool picture of an old house on the cover, and house was like twisting. it was really cool...i wish i saved the picture!!! :|

it went for $76 i fell asleep. i couldnt believe other ppl werent bidding!!! "sex,drugs,and power tools" you cant find cheaper than $175,$200 for that!!! I want it so bad, but its so much!

I watch eBay auctions of Edward Lee items fairly closely. I have 5 or 6 books listed there at the moment under my eBay name of Mapper2014. I do recall a HEADER auction last month. I thought it was a trade paperback but I have to admit I didn't examine the auction word for word. I have owned a couple copies and I know it states on the declarations page that there is a 500 copy trade paperback edition, while making no mention of a hardcover.

There you go Micah, lucky escape. If whoever was selling it had listed as a hardcover and you had stayed awake and bid a couple of hundred for it things could have got messy when a paperback turned up in the post.

$76 for a paperback is still cheap. Bet you can pick up a limited copy on the cheap when the Deadite paperback does eventually come out though. I guess it's a good thing that these hard to find stories come out again in a more affordable version for the masses, but these reprints can cause havok with the prices on the limiteds the die hard folks paid back in the day.

Yeah, that is a great little book and I'd bought it way back when after it was published...and then I lent it out to a friend, who ended up moving and had a box of books that suffered water-damage...and yep, it was fucking ruined! Thankfully, I bought Sex, Drugs & Power Tools when it came out! Never...NEVER again, will I lend any of my Lee stuff...
